The team spent the morning clearing the coastal area between the historic Wied Musa Battery (also known as Il-Palazz l-Ahmar) and the Cirkewwa Bay of accumulated waste. They collected a range of wastes – including fragments of polystyrene (jablo), masks, wet wipes, ceramic, rusted metal, wood, and recyclable materials including plastic and glass.
