Collette Lynch

Assistant Environmental Officer

Collette Lynch was born in Manchester, UK where she graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Conservation.  As part of her dissertation, Collette researched the causes of the decline in wading bird populations within the Goyt Valley region of the Peak District National Park.  Collette then went on to gain valuable experience within the field of conservation, working as an Assistant Project Officer for the British Trust for Conservation Volunteers.  Collette has a keen interest in ecology and enjoys identifying fauna and flora both locally and when travelling abroad.

Fulfilling her aspirations of working abroad, Collette moved to Malta in 2013 continuing a career in the hospitality sector.  There Collette gained valuable experience as a senior member of the management team.

After taking a keen interest in environmental issues within the Maltese Islands and with a desire to return to her roots Collette joined the Ensure team in 2019 as a member of the company’s environmental monitoring and permitting team.

Collette is responsible for conducting regular site inspections and advising management teams and site operatives on the best practice methods which aim to reduce the environmental impacts of their construction projects.  In addition to site inspections, Collette assists with noise, vibration and air quality monitoring.  Collette is also responsible for matters concerning environmental permitting and assists clients on the environmental issues their company is challenged with.

Collette enjoys getting back to the open countryside whenever she can and has an ambition to volunteer on a conservation project in one of the central American rainforests one day in the future.
