En-Sure archaeologists unearth ancient wall in Valletta Ditch

En-Sure’s archaeology team is responsible for monitoring all the works being undertaken in Valletta in connection with the development at the Triton Fountain. A critical part of En-Sure’s work is to constantly monitor all the works so that if any features of archaeological importance are discovered, works are stopped and the appropriate action is taken to record and, where relevant, preserve these features. Malta Carnival Experience gets Green Light

The Planning Authority (PA) recently approved the construction of the Malta Carnival Experience. This project, spearheaded by the Arts Council Malta, envisages the creation of a space in Marsa for the manufacture of carnival floats, costumes and masks, as well as being an attraction centre where visitors can appreciate the history of the carnival, view the floats being built, and interact with the float makers. Archaeological finds at the Augustinian Priory, Valletta

Interesting archaeological finds made by En-Sure’s archaeologists were recently featured in the local press.

En-Sure was engaged by the Fondazzjoni Socjo-Kulturali Ambjentali Agustinjana (FSKAA) to conduct exploratory archaeological monitoring at the Augustinian Priory in Valletta. This monitoring was required as part of the evaluation process for an Interpretation Centre proposed by the FSKAA. Read more..
