En-Sure Director achieves Chartered Environmentalist status

Rachel Xuereb, Director at En-Sure, recently achieved Chartered Environmentalist status and also became a full member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA).

This achievement is awarded to highly experienced individuals who spend most of their time working towards environmental improvements for their organisation, opportunities for their business, clients and staff, and working towards a sustainable economy.

Rachel began her environmental career in 1995 after graduating in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Malta. She spent several years working with the Malta Environment and Planning Authority (MEPA), working primarily on the environmental assessment of major developments projects, and has been involved in the managerial aspects of En-Sure since its inception in 2007. At En-Sure, Rachel is regularly involved in the coordination of staff undertaking environmental site management, environmental and operational monitoring, archaeology monitoring, permitting and auditing at a range of major construction sites and smaller projects. She is also a member of the Today Public Policy Institute, a Maltese think-tank.
