This EU-funded project involves extensive excavations as well as construction of an access way and three hangars for private jet maintenance at Safi Aviation Park.

Archaeological monitoring was required as previous works had yielded several finds related to agriculture and funerary practices.  Agricultural trenches were in fact discovered during excavation works; these were later documented under the guidance of the Superintendence of Cultural Heritage.
