En-Sure Consultant Achieves Soil and Groundwater Risk Assessment Certification

Rachel Decelis, Senior Environmental Consultant at En-Sure, recently completed a training course on soil and groundwater risk assessment.

The course was organised by CL:AIRE (Contaminated Land: Applications in Real Environments), an independent UK organisation specialised on sustainable land reuse.  The topics covered included the processes involved in carrying out a risk assessment, including preparing a conceptual site model, Tier 1 and Tier 2 assessments, risk evaluation, risk management strategies, and verification of risk reduction.

Rachel, a scientist by training, joined En-Sure in 2013.  Amongst others, she regularly conducts land and groundwater risk assessment studies, and coordinates the site investigation and contamination studies conducted by En-Sure.
