Adrian Mallia is a chartered environmentalist, chartered biologist, and Managing Director of En-Sure Limited, which he helped set up in 2007. He has over 20 years experience in environmental matters and has an in-depth knowledge of Environmental Assessment, construction site environmental management, environmental permitting, and monitoring.
At En-Sure, Adrian leads a team of professional staff engaged in the daily services provided by the company, including environmental site management, environmental and operational monitoring, archaeology monitoring, permitting and auditing at a range of major construction sites and smaller projects.
Adrian is a member of the Society for Biology (UK), the Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (UK), the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (UK), and the European Federation of Associations of Environmental Professionals. Over the years he has also provided consultancy services to a number of foreign governments or institutions, including the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Government of St Helena Island (South Atlantic Ocean), and the EU’s TAIEX office (assistance for the Turkish Cypriot Community in the northern part of Cyprus).
Adrian is fluent in Maltese, English, and Italian, and has some knowledge of Spanish and Portuguese. He enjoys sports in general and has a keen interest in football; since 2009 he has taken up long distance running and has participated in a number of half marathons as well as 10 km and 5 km races. Adrian also enjoys travelling with his family and when time permits he loves trekking, cooking, and a good bottle of wine!
