Cinthya Ribero

Environmental Consultant

Cinthya Ribero is a geochemist with experience in Environmental Impact Assessment and GIS mapping.

Cinthya has a Bachelors degree in Geochemistry from the National University of La Plata (UNLP, Argentina) and a Masters degree in Environmental and Petroleum Geochemistry from Newcastle University (UK).

During the courses she followed at UNLP, Cinthya worked as an intern at an oil and gas exploration company where she gained substantial experience using geographical information systems. She also worked as a freelancer drafting Environmental Impact Assessment reports.

She joined En-Sure in 2022 as a member of the company’s environmental monitoring and permitting team. Within En-Sure, Cinthya is responsible for matters relating to environmental permitting as well as the drawing up of land and groundwater contamination assessments, providing advice to clients on environmental issues (including for ISO 14001 certification purposes), preparing Project Description Statements and providing other advice as part of Environmental Impact Assessments (mainly hydrology and geology sections). She also supports the En-Sure environmental site management team in inspections on construction sites and in noise and vibration monitoring and she assists with the company’s GIS mapping. She is also responsible for the company’s assignments relating to surface water and seawater.

Cinthya is fluent in Spanish and English and has a basic knowledge of Italian. She enjoys cooking and she is a hockey player.
