En-Sure was commissioned to provide environmental site management and monitoring services to a contractor during the construction of anti-scour protection around the Cirkewwa Berth 3 Ramp.

During this project, En-Sure prepared a General Environmental Plan that set out the environmental obligations relevant to the construction project and outlined the means by which these obligations would be met. The site’s construction workers were also trained on best practices for environmental construction site management through a toolbox talk led by En-Sure staff.

Throughout the duration of the construction works En-Sure also monitored the site through weekly inspections, and made practical recommendations to the contractor on how to implement the requirements set out in the General Environmental Plan.
