In this project En-Sure assisted the client by preparing a waste management plan and an environmental registration application for a proposed old people’s home in Victoria, Gozo.  The proposal aims to provide accommodation for 73 elderly residents, as well as limited medical treatment.

The waste management plan covered both the construction and operational elements of the proposal, whereas the environmental registration application addressed the operational aspects, as required by the Environment and Resources Authority (ERA).  As part of the project, guidance was also provided to the client on the creation of an appropriate waste management area, identification of relevant waste streams as well as licensed waste management facilities for recovery or disposal.
