BAT conclusions on pig & poultry published

The European Union has published Implementing Decision 2017/302 to establish best available techniques (BAT) conclusions for the intensive rearing of poultry or pigs under the Industrial Emissions Directive.

The conclusions apply to farms carrying out intensive rearing of poultry or pigs and having more than 40,000 places for poultry, 2,000 places for production pigs (over 30 kg), or 750 places for sows. Read more..

Equality Mark Recertification

The National Commission for the Promotion of Equality (NCPE) recently recertified En-Sure Ltd with the Equality Mark for a further three years. En-Sure first obtained the Equality Mark in January 2015. Read more..

En-Sure archaeologists unearth ancient wall in Valletta Ditch

En-Sure’s archaeology team is responsible for monitoring all the works being undertaken in Valletta in connection with the development at the Triton Fountain. A critical part of En-Sure’s work is to constantly monitor all the works so that if any features of archaeological importance are discovered, works are stopped and the appropriate action is taken to record and, where relevant, preserve these features.
